The children’s daily schedule is flexible enough to provide adaptability when necessary but structured enough to provide predictability for the children. We want them to view their school as a safe and nurturing place, where they know what to expect and when to expect it.
Group Sizes and Staff Ratios
Maximum group size is defined by the number of children in one group that may be cared for at any time. Limitations do not include naptime, lunch time, outdoor play or special activities.
The maximum group sizes are as followed:
|Age Group (Years)||Number|
|2 1/2 – 3||16|
|4 – 5||28|
Teacher-to-child ratios for the following age groups WILL NOT exceed***:
|Age Group (Years)||Ratio|
|4 Years – Kindergarten Eligible||1:14|
***Ratios for toddlers and preschoolers may be doubled for one and a half hours during naptime as long as all children are resting quietly on their cots and enough staff are in the building to meet the regular required staff/child ratio if there is an emergency.
